La Tazza D’Oro, an iconic café originally established in Prato, Italy, in 1984, stands as a timeless testament to quality, tradition, and the essence of social connection. An Italian coffee shop at heart, with a NYC sensibility. The space is contemporary. The bar, faithfully fitted with European ergonomics as an espresso bar, is an intricate black Walnut wainscotting tailored to conceal all metallic bar equipment and structure, leaving no stainless steel visible in the entire space. The impression is reminiscent of a Viennese café with displays that seem more adapt to exhibit necklaces than Cream Puffs.
